Materials:
- ORANGE chenille yarn
- a little of orange/yellow cotton/acrylic yarn
- 5,5 mm hook
- sewing needle
- stuffing
- scissors
- hot glue
- jute string
- little piece of wood stick
Abbreviations:
- R – row
- ch - chain
- hdc - half double crochet
- f.o – finish off
- in BLO - in back loops only
Pumpkin pattern:
You can make any size of pumpkin with this pattern. The size will depend on the numbers of stitches on the starting chain. I will make small one :)
In ORANGE:
1. 15ch, turn
2. starting from 2nd ch from hook make 13hdc, 2ch, turn
3. In BLO 13hdc, 2ch turn
Repeat R3 until your work is twiceas long as it high
F.o. leave a yarn tail for sewing.
Fold the rectangle in half and sew it.
After sewing, insert the needle into every other stitch at the top and tighten.
Secure the yarn tails and turn over to the right side. Add stuffing.
Using cotton/acrylic yarn sew up the opening bu inserting the needle into every other stitch and tighten.
Using a cotton yarn, sew the pumpkin from the bottom to make an indentation. Repeat 5-6 times. Secure the yarn tails and hide them into the pumpkin.
Using hot glue add a wood stick on the center of the pumpkin. Add a jute string.
